ASUS DSAN-DX issue with 24G RAM

I have an ASUS DSAN-DX system running on 2008r2 core server.
I was just wondering is there any common issue on ASUS DSAN-DX motherboard if I put 8 GB more RAM to existed 16 GB RAM so in total will be 24 GB.
And what things I need to pay attention to. Thanks
