Unallocated hard drive answer please

Dear sir/madam


i bought a 3TB WD green on yesterday and when i tried to setup windows 7 in partition section i saw a error which doesn't allow me to make a new partition with my 746GB unallocated hard drive so i left that behind in that time and i start installing windows on other drive however how can i fix this problem and use this part of my hard drive which is unallocated and it's near 800GB
PLEASE help ME

You could use a program called EaseUS Partition Master to extend your windows 7 partition to the unallocated space on that drive. It's free for desktop OSs. Just be careful as you could loose all your data on the drive. I would make sure you have a good backup before you proceed just in case there is a problem and you have to reload everything.

As far as I know windows 7 doesn't recognize drives over 2TB. Some companies offer unlocking services though, my asus motherboard came with said software although I've never tested it myself.

after i making partition even 50GB it will make a 760GB partition automatically which is unchangeable

after i paid 1500$ is very hard that your hard drive doesn't work
now what can i do ??
in some forums i saw someone suggest to convert to GTP but also this way doesn't work

Use Asus disk unlocker from this page:

It is under the download tab>select OS>utilities tab>scroll down to it.

I'm leaving it up to you to figure out how to use it but it's main purpose is for unlocking 3TB hard drives. Good luck.
