I'm not sure if the motherboard is right for me. I need a fast performance motherboard that has a decent on board sound. I do not need USB 3 or any extra features. The current one I have listed is at $70 and I am aiming toward that price.

this is the problem.

that board doesn't support SLI and.. if you ever upgrade you would have to buy a new motherboard... a new cpu... just go with an ATi card.

5850 is good, and same performance pretty much..

motherboard with CFX

I realize this is a little over budget.. but hey, it will pay off in the long run.

if you wanna save you can get this, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

That Mobo doesn't do CFX, its X16/X4 so scaling is horrible.
Besides, he stated he wanted single card.

The motherboard is a bit expensive. Is there one that does not have the feature of USB 3, and is cheaper?
