Swapping old secondary HD from old system to new system
Nov 20, 2012, 12:19 AM
I apologize if this is a dumb question but I haven't been able to find specific information on my situation in any of the searches I've done.
I just got a new PC with Windows 8. My old Windows XP system has a 500GB secondary internal hard drive that I would like to move over to my new PC (also as a secondary drive).
Are there any potential problems with moving a secondary drive between two OS's? I realize primary drives would be a problem but I'm not sure about secondary.
If anybody can assist with the question and/or point to somewhere that could give some guidance on how best to do this, it would be greatly appreciated!
