i'm new at all this stuff but started playing the sims games and now learning a lot my cpu is usually 31-34 I have :hp p7 1414 6 gb ram 64 bit 930 gb hd amd radeon hd 7560d 512 mb dedicated graphics 2509 mb shared 300 watt cant have the expansion Late Night installed game freezes but still have a somewhat dark game screen and game starts to freeze after I play for a couple hrs I have the sims3 and ambitions exp pk

I'm having a bit of trouble understanding you.

From what I can gather your laptop maybe overheating, Never play a game on a soft item like a bed or cushion, the laptop won't be able to circulate the air and will very quickly cause problems.

If that is not the problem, you could try updating the video drivers, found here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

If this still does not solve the issue please post here again with some more information on the problem, and I'll see what I can do.
