it does not say what modle easynote on it .
please help me

In XP, go to Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager and click on Network Adapters. Select the wireless one and click to see the Properties then click the Details tab. Take the four characters after VEN (vendor) and also after DEV (device) and input them in the appropriate boxes at http://www.pcidatabase.com. That will tell you the name of the manufacturer - very possibly Atheros - and you can go to their website for the right driver.

Go Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager and see if the wireless adapter is listed -- may mention chipset brand (Broadcomm, Intel, Atheros etc) and hopefully model number of chipset.

Seek generic driver for that chipset from maker's site or from Packard Bell (the same chipset may have been used on another PB laptop which was supplied with XP installed).
