So I am looking for a new graphics card. I have been looking in the $100 or less range and it seems like the 4850 or gts 250 are my best options for games, but I have a 430watt continuous psu. My question is what is the best card for my system cause I just bought off my cousin for $180 and want to play some games with it.

Specs:
Antec 300 tower
ASUS M4A78T-E
AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz (TDP=95watts)
Rosewill Green Series RG430-2 430W
PNY Optima 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3
SAMSUNG 22X DVD±R DVD Burner Black IDE
Western Digital 200 gb IDE

the rosewill green series is solid, you have plenty of amps on your 12v to run the GTS250 or ATI 4850

I'd look at a 9800 geforce on ebay or something

But that brings up the next question, which has better performance? But I can look that up, unless anyone has a quick opinion. However, one thing I can't find is, does the GTS 250 or HD4850 use less watts? Or do I have enough coverage to get either because it seems like their "recommended" specs is pushing it.

both cards offer similar performance, i believe the 4850 uses less power but not a significant amount less. 24a on the 12v will cover either card and your system. That rosewill has 33a on the 12v so you are fine with either one.
