Hello,
I have the BE and was thinking of getting another one to run in crossfire, but can't find any. Can i use a "regular" xfx 5850 in crossfire and will it give me the benefits I am looking for?

it will work just fine =)

make sure your PSU is enough for both cards, you will need to use 4x 6 pin connectors

Clocks will be lowered on both to the lower of the two but it will work.

Thanks to all, this is exactly what I was looking for. Got another "regular" xfx 5850 coming from the egg and the differences in clock speed is negligible. Looking tpo see what two of these can do in crossfire. I have a 1100 Watt PS, so there should be no issues putting these two to work.

thanks again for all replies
