Well Folks,

This is a bit of a noob question, but I am currently gathering parts for a new computer, which is my first ever build and yes, I am getting help with it :-) But I seen this deal....

http://www.macmall.com/p/Samsung-Electronics-Removable-...

So my questions are....
1. Is it a good deal or should I wait till black Friday or Cyber Monday or just get it now?

2. I had earmarked the exact same type and size SSD but with the desktop kit included which is $220. So what extra components do I need to make it a desktop kit?? Please give me some links to what I need to make it a desktop kit.

Cheers,
Alan

it is a good deal, and since these are last year's models, you'd better grab them while you can! you may save 10-20 waiting for a super sale, but no guarantee you'll be ahead of the 1000's of others just waiting to jump on the deals.

the only other thing you may need is a 3.5 to 2.5" adapter kit, which can be had for as low as $5. the only other thing in the kit would be software to copy/transfer from an original drive. since you're building entirely new, then you'd be wasting your money.
