  1. you sure it only has 24 on the 12v? there is no 12v2 stat?

24a on the 12v is what you would find on a 400w PSU, on a 600w its a bad sign.
  2. Is this PSU http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=DUAL-PW-600&cat=PWR

i dont want to make a sli, an overclock neither

just take something that handle the hardware without problems
  3. You bought the 465, a HD 6850 should be better and lower consumption. What brand and model is the PSU?

  5. dont get a crap PSU, just because it says 600w does not mean it can supply that power continuously. its probably 600w peak at 15 degrees C. when will people learn....
  6. This looks better right???

    PK-550W

    550 Watts

    + 5Vcc  + 12Vcc  - 12Vcc  + 3.3Vcc  + 5VSB , 550W  60A  36A  0.8A  36A  2A

    or

    Okia-500

    +3.3V@23A, +5V@21A,+12V1@13A, +12V2@13A,-12V@1A, +5VSB@2A,

    OKIA-500

    500 Watts

    wich looks better???

i just want stabilty, and avoid crashes...

    this will handle it?

(thanks for the another opcions{ they look pretty, and very good output } , but this is one that i can reach....

wich kind of problems i'll have if use this Power supplies ???

so, and i like nvidia, more stable, and linux drivers are good, i have troubles with ati cards in the past and i dont want to repeat again that...
  7. Both garbage
The card must have cost you a few bucks, now spend the money to power it.
  8. like DELL stated both are poor power supplies. do you have a budget to purchase the PSU? I would avoid geeks.com, they really sell garbage on their site. Believe it or not, their products are over-priced for what you get and that says a lot when all their PSU are $20.
