I m planning to get a laptop from compaq with the following configuration
250GB Harddisk
1GB Ram
2.10 GHz P4 processor. can anyone suggest me whether i can buy this brand

I'd recommend going for something more modern. At least a core2 generation CPU

If you're in India, at any HP or Compaq showroom.
Best would be to go to their site and select the Model you are looking for and then ask them for the closest retailer....
