Hello, I have the Dell l421x, and orginally I bought the model with a 500gb regular hard drive, and a 32gb Micro SSD that acts as a caching drive. However, I bought another SSD and am about to replace the hard drive. I want to know if it is possible for me to make the caching drive into regular storage, as caching a SSD with another, most likely slower, SSD does not make sense.

Yes.

1.) Go into BIOS and change your SATA ports from RAID mode to AHCI mode.
2.) Connect only your new SSD and install Windows on it.
3.) Connect your old SSD, go into Windows Disk Management and initialize the old SSD, Quick format it, and assign it a drive letter.
