Asus P7P55D-E Pro SATA 3 doesnt support TRIM?

I have an ASUS P7P55D-E Pro and am thinking of buying an (OCZ Max IOPS or Corsair Force GT) SSD. I've read that the board's SATA 3 controller doesn't support TRIM. Is this true? Any suggestions if it is? Thanks.

i dont think the SATA controller has anythign to do with TRIM, you just need to make sure you have it set to AHCI or RAID (and use the correct drivers). if your controller cant do AHCI or RAID then it will not support TRIM. but contacting ASUS (by phone or email) would really be the best option.

Windows 7 supports TRIM even in IDE mode, but AHCI is a better option.
