Install Internal Hard Dive?

Ok so I put the hard drive in, it is a barracuda 1tb western digital 7200 rpm but when I turned on my computer I dont see it in any were, Windows recognized the device and said it was installed properly, I went to Device manager and I saw it there and tryed to update the drivers but it said it was already up to date. Any one help me on what im doing wrong??

have you checked in the Disk Manager?

Like Emerald said, you need to go in the disk manager.
Right click on My Computer choose Manage, in the window that appears you should see Disk Manager somewhere.
Find your disk, create a partition on it, and format it. Be careful here make sure you choose the right disk.
