Currently I am looking at the P8Z68-V Pro it is at the max I would likely to pay for a mobo £150 but was wondering what boards you guys think is better if any??

Don't mind paying slightly more but if the cost is worth it.

I will be making use of quick sync and will be going for SLI down the line.

Cheers

The ASUS P8Z68-V Pro is a very good Z68, and you're not running some crazy OC look at the ASRock Z68 Extreme4. The ASUS has nice 'doodads' and more Phases.

Maybe the Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4 it only has an HDMI output but unlike many Gigabyte Z68's does offer Virtu.

Thanks for the reply,

No point gettin a Z68 imo if doesnt allow use of Virtu so the UD4 is not a option.

I will be overclocking to 4.5 to start off with (2500k) and I do like idea of bluetooth (on ASUS) but could live without or buy a external dongle.

What is the BIOS like on the Asrock?

The GA-Z68XP-UD4 'DOES' allow Virtu, BUT many other Gigabyte Z68's don't and you need to be careful was my only point.

ASUS P8Z68-V Pro = UEFI 'BIOS'
ASRock Z68 Extreme4 = UEFI 'BIOS'

Difference other than color scheme, icons, is the same.
