Hi,

I have seen one or two people through a quick Google search but all they tend to say advice which isn't exactly helpful so I am wondering whether anyone else has had this problem and found a way to fix it?

I know I could just use Gparted (and have done with a mates Sandisk 256GB extreme before sending it back to Amazon but thats mainly because Sandisk is so useless they didn't have any program themselves) but I would feel much better using Samsungs own software, if it was viewable anyway.

All I can really read is "ESC", the rest is totally illegible, I guess if I saw a video of what someone else has done I could just follow that and as I have only one Samsung SSD in my PC, it probably will be like Magician and ignore any other SSD?

Many thanks for your helpful replies.

Never mind, I found out what the problem was.

Using the Magician user guide I did this...

Y to accept disclaimer
Press Enter to choose disk

[Manual did not show this]

It will seemingly show Y again, I found out it was most likely saying my SSD was frozen and required taking out the power and sata cable for a few seconds and then putting it back in, then pressing Y... it will then eventually Secure Erase successful.

Bootmgr error shows it has been sucessfully erased
