Flash card direct connection to motherboard

I have acquired a Compaq case with a dead motherboard, the case has several useful peripherals including card readers. My current Motherboard is an Intel DP43tf and I was wondering if there is a way to connect the front panel card readers to this Mobo?

If it (The card reader has a 9 Pin connector cable at one end, yes you can remove the FP card reader and connect it to your USB header on the Mobo....
