More about 5750
  1. when buying a card you don't look at it's core or memory clock, you look at it's performance. even if both card have the same clock they will never perform the same because both card structured differently. btw performance wise they should be close but 5750 have dx11. if you does not really care about dx11 just go for which is cheaper. if you're really interested in dx11 stuff i advise don't go any lower than 5770
  2. The 5750's only got 80 less SP's than the 5770, it shouldn't be enough to make DX11 on the 5750 useless.
I would get the 5750 unless the GTS 250 is greatly cheaper.
  3. They are roughly the same, like renz said it is a matter of DX11 or not, 5750 has it, 250 does not, also, the 5750 will draw much less power and produce less heat...
  4. @all , I will not upgrade for next 3-4 yrs, so i think dx11 will be better option for me ?

so which one to get, ? I am getting one today only. I am getting XFX 5750 1 GB for $195 here in india ,AND XFX GTS 250 1GB for around $175....

Which one to get, any other great card
  5. If you're not going to upgrade for 3-4 years I would strongly look at a 5850 instead, for that period you would definitely want DX11 support, as DX10 GPU's aren't even powerful enough.
  6. it depends on how you play the game and what resolution you play at. if you play on high resolution you'll definitely want to get better card than this two if you really going to use it that long. both card performance are almost the same but i'm leaning towards 5750 if i were in your situation
  7. my monitor resolution: 1600x900 .

Will my this PSU enough for xfx 5750 ?

  8. Yes, Dell used a 460W PSU to power a 5870, so you should be fine.

at that resolution 5750/5770 is fine however if really going to use it for 3-4 years then 5850 is a better choice. but if you got limited budget then just go with the one that suits you the best right now
