Right now i can play BFBC2 pretty good, but i want a constant 60FPS (never dipping below 60fps) and have AA max and AF Max.

Here is my current rig:

ASrock A785GXH/128M Motherboard
8gb G.Skill PC2-6400
Radeon HD 4890 1gb
Phenom II X2 555 BE Unlocked and OCed to Phenom II X3 @ 3.5ghz

I get around 30-60 fps with shadows on medium AA and AF @ 1x and my resolution is @ 1920x1080

What should be the next thing i upgrade to get best performance? I was thinking about getting a Radeon 4870x2 or maybe a Phenom II X4 965 BE. What do you guys recommend? Thanks for any help!

Do you guys think Battlefield Bad Company 2 is more CPU intensive or GPU intensive? I think im going to go with the 965BE.

BFBC2 is on the short list of games that uses multiple cores well. Going to a quad will likely help some.

The 4870x2 isnt made anymore. ATI is into the 5000 series and Nvidia is making the 400 series. You will have to spend alot of money to get a stronger graphics card than that 4890, I doubt its worthwhile.

GET A PHENOM II X4 965. The game is VERY cpu intensive.
