SATA Data Splitter

I have a MSI H61 P31 (G3) Motherboard, an I have been putting everything together.

After connecting my HDD and SSD to the motherboard and PSU I then tried to connect my optical drive to the motherboard as well, but noticed that my GPU is blocking the other two SATA ports on the motherboard.

Is there anything out there that can split one of my other SATA ports to get the optical drive connected?

For the moment I will be unable to use my SSD, and I would like to have that working as well.

No you cannot split sata ports.

you could look at getting a SATA PCI or PCI-x card and running your optical drive through there.

or look at getting an external USB optical drive

Can I make the optical drive plug into a USB port?

I rarely use DVDs as most of my movies are either on a USB or are downloaded.
I also want to use my SSD for my operating System as it is only 32gb, and my HDD is 500gb.

That right angle cord looks like it would work, but I can't exactly tell with the amount of space that I have which is about .85"
