I bought this laptop on black Friday at BestBuy (yes, stood out in the
cold and everything) but would like to now purchase an INTERNAL
wireless card for it. Does anyone know which card will be compatible
and how to install it.
Lastly, I am in the market to find a case for this laptop as well and
ran across the thread below. I have asked 'TheTargusGuy' to help me
out in a private message I sent to him but no response yet. I have to
get an answer soon as I leave on a business trip on Friday and would
like to have my wireless card and laptop case by then.
My question regarding a case is which one will just snuggly fit my
laptop (I don't want some bulky case) and which is better a back pack
or a bag? I think the bag looks more professional but I have enough
stuff to lug around in the airport but . . .

Is this the $499 laptop with a Celeron-M? Yes, I saw that one -
considered going for it but I think I will wait and buy a true
Centrino machine...
Are you sure this machine has a mini-PCI slot? It probably does; it's
most likely accessible easily on the bottom side of the laptop by
unscrewing a panel (like my Toshiba 1415). You should not only see a
little slot, you should also hope to find wires for an internal
antenna, which you will connect up to the mini-PCI card. This is what
my laptop had - I installed the card myself.
You need the antenna wires! If you don't have them (no internal
antenna), you might not be able to go the internal WiFi card route.
Here's what I posted last April when I installed the card:
That card (PA2314P04A from Agere - an OEM part for Toshiba) is an
802.11b card but may work in your laptop as well. Search Google and
try to find the 802.11g version (compatible with b).

The Agere 11g card for Toshiba appears to be PA3300U-2MPC. Don't know if it
is compatible with that model.
