SSD on a new system...clean install or migration?

While I've learned that a clean install is best when installing an SSD, would migration be feasible if the OS is new? (After deleting all of the bloatware that comes with OEM operating systems, of course)

I plan on getting a laptop with Windows 8 x64, and would prefer to not have to spend $85 on a System Builder DVD to reinstall the OS.

You could do the migration or clone the OS which ever is easier.
