Crossfire 3-slot 6950's on P67 Deluxe, any space between?

Hallo, this is a question for people with a sense for size, or with personal experience with the matter.

I want to fit in 2x6950 DCII 3-slot cards on my P8P67 Deluxe, but I am not sure if it will fit and have some space between them for some air.

If you have experience with 3-slot crossfire, can you tell if something became a problem? (Stuff not fitting, no air gap - whatever you may find informative)

This will all be in a HAF-X case, so room is plenty.

the cards will fit if you use the White and Blue PCI-E slots but there will be no room in between the cards. depending on your case, you might be able to use the blue and black slots, but you would need a case that supports E-ATX motherboards (and im not sure that would work anyway).

it is probably not a good idea to Crossfire those cards. you could use these, just as good if not better cooling and only 2 slots:

It is not so much the temps I wonder about, it is more about the sound output. I was indeed planning on putting the cards in Black and Blue slots. I believe my HAF X case will be able to fit it, no?

I want a motherboard with 3 6950 cards in it.
I can change the cards, and the mobo.

So please, give me your best shot.

I was personally thinking about 3-way Twin Frozr II/OC or III/OC on the same p8p67 Deluxe - would that give satisfactional results?
