Want To Watch TV On An Underpowered? Laptop

Hello,
I have a toshiba satellite L30-101 with a 1.46GHZ processor.I was thinking of buying a usb tv tuner but it states that It needs a 2GHZ processor.Can I do anything to make it work with my laptop as is?

Give me your exact cpu in your Toshiba and I will look and see if you can upgrade to a 2ghz
