I need a new machine to play SC2 and multi tasking on the web. I'd like the machine to have options for upgrading/swapping parts later as time goes on as well. If it weren't for SC2 lagging, I'd be sticking with my current machine(Dell 5150).

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: 1-2 Weeks

BUDGET RANGE: $600

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: SC2, web browsing, streaming videos, League of Legends

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: video card(ATI 5670), keyboard, mouse, monitor

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg or microcenter

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA

PARTS PREFERENCES: I'm leaning towards AMD/ATI

OVERCLOCKING: no

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: no

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I'd like to avoid rebates if possible. I have a hard drive/dvd burner, but I'd like to see a full system for $600.

Potential Build that I made quickly(without hd/dvd drive)

i didnt see that combo on the psu/case, but it looks like a good switch. I'd rather spend more money on a harder part to upgrade(processor) than on parts I can swap out later, which is why i went with the phenom x4 over the athlon x3. im not sure why i got a mobo with onboard video though...my current card should be able to display hdmi just fine too( i dont have a hdmi capable monitor yet though!).

ill look around some more and see what i can find.

staples has a pretty ncie deal on acer comp:

lacks a little on the processor, and would potentially need a new mobo...but i'm definitely thinking about just getting that as well.

thanks
