Replacing Nvidia 8500GT

Newbie here. I need to replace my 8500GT and I have a 450W PSU and asking what card makes sense. Running Vista but will probably upgrade to a dual boot Vista/ Windows 7 or just windows 7. I'm not a high power on-line gamer, do play some of the obsolete stuff but have started watching TV-video. I thing this has to do with getting older. ![;)]( ";)")
