Use 1 gb sticks only; the limit is 4 gb of ddr2. Check the label on your stock ram. I recommend crucial, corsair, kingston, hynix, gskill, pny, or pqi. pc5300 or pc6400 ddr2 should work. Use the speed your board has now. The label should list it. If you have 2 512 mb sticks, leave those in and add 2x1 gb kit for a total of 3 gb. Use the same speed in all four slots, and the same quantity in each pair of color coded slots to stay in dual channel mode. 3 gb is all 32 bit windows will recognize anyway.
