Hi

I have recently installed Win7 Home Premium N and although I COULD set which browser I wanted as my default I can't any longer. I have both Firefox and IE8, my preference being Firefox. However, I can't set either as my default browser and I'm wondering if anyone here may have a possible solution to this. Many thanks for any help anyone may be able to provide on this.

Tracey

Hi Tacey,

I don't know what you have tried , but one way is to open internet options on the control panel . The general tab will open and there is box that says set home page .Type in the address of the page you would like to use, delete all others and click apply. If the address is typed correctly this should work . The address may requrire a / behind .com/ Windows 7 won't offer FireFox as a defalt program
