Help wont go 100% load

I'm converting videos using Xilisoft Video Converter with an i7 950 and even if I convert 6 videos at once I get a max of 25% load. Is my CPU bust?

Try using Handbrake, it's much more efficient.

I have the Ultimate version of Xilisoft, it depends what type of video conversion your doing converting a DVD video to mp4 or a WMVHD to Blu ray. I have a Q9450, 8800GT and when doing HD video it will use more CPU. If doing HD video conversions i see 60-70% usage via task manager readings.

The problem is with the software, not the hardware. Clearly the application cannot make use of your available CPU to its maximum ability.

If you can run multiple sessions of the program at once then use the processor affinity (from taskmanager (right click task and assign affinity)) and assign a core to each task manually.
