20GB Intel SLC SSD module on GA-Z68XP-UD3-iSSD be used a Boot Drive?

Hello all,

Can the bundled 20GB Intel SLC SSD module on Gigabyte MoBo GA-Z68XP-UD3-iSSD be used as Boot Drive?

So far it is only known to be used for Intel Smart Response.

Please see below link for reference:

Additionally, if you could use it as a boot drive will it have enough space to install Window's XP/Vista/7 32 bit or 64 bit OS?

If you reply please have a link supporting your claim or own the said GB MoBo and have tried this.

Thanks!!! ^_^

  1. You should be able to use it as a boot drive. You will probably be running out of memory soon after you start installing more software, especially games.
