Hello! :hello: would like to know if anyone has found a way to add a HD 5850 Video Card to a ECS 945P-A mobo? I bought the vid card and put in on my mobo with a brand new Corsair tx750. It just begins to power up, then shuts down repeatedly. Not good.

Anyone know if perhaps a bios upgrade or chip OS upgrade is required, or would help? My system runs fine with older vid card and don't want to mess with the bios unless I have to. Anyone got any experience with this setup?

Everything was connected as suggested above. Although, I did not remove the previous video drivers of the other card, it never even got to the bootstrap process... thus, feel that step would perhaps be a little premature?

Pentium D (dual core) 3.4 GHz
and ATI Radeon HD 5850 has the PCI Express 2.0 support

The previous card is an Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT with PCI-Express or PCI-Express 2.0 compliant.
