Hello,
I just got mine 3 days ago and have not been able to get My HP CPU or Win Vista to recognize it. I did manage to get the drivers downloaded at Driver Medic, but Iv'e about had it.

Did you try the drivers from Vimicro's website? http://www.vimicro.com/english/product/pc003.htm


If Vimicro doesn't have drivers for your device, it's because Windows should recognize the camera on its own. If that's the case, or the Vimicro drivers don't work, the camera is broken (return it) or Windows is corrupt (repair/reinstall). I'd return the Camera first.
