A general rule is that if it works the way it is, don't try to flash the BIOS. IF something would go wrong (crash, power problem, something similar), there would be a very high chance of completely bricking your motherboard, and having to either RMA it or completely buy a new one if the manufacturer wouldn't take it.
BIOS updates tend to be a bit risky in their nature, and are best left alone unless something actually requires an update for compatibility.
