I've already purchased my 840 Pro 128GB for about $160 and installed my OS onto it. I noticed the Vertex 4 256GB dropped to the same price right after I bought my 840 Pro. Is the Vertex 4 good enough to warrant I return the 840 Pro and get it? And if I do, is there a way to transfer everything on my current SSD onto the new one? I already have a 1TB HDD I will be using for most things.

I would keep the Samsung.

That's what I was thinking.
While I lose out on 128GB of space, I do get a better SSD and I can cut down on usage. I just disabled hibernation which freed another 6GB. I have 60GB free and 60GB used with just Windows, apps, and Skyrim.
All my other games are on my HDD from Steam Mover.

Personally I'd go with the Vertex 4. The speed difference between them is negligible, they're both very reliable drives, and the larger storage space could prove very, very nice.

Im not quite sure where you found a OCZ Vertex 4 256GB for around $160 because I can only find it for around $240 so please send a website if you have. Now i have seen a OCZ "AGILITY" 4 for about $160 but there is no comparison to the Vertex line.
