Hey Mubby,
I hope this helps you. I am currently having problems with a 9500GT. I bought it for my old system (AMD dual core) and it ran great for a month and a half. Then quit. I couldnt tell if it was the card the the junk motherboard, and had nothing else to test it in at the time. I recently built a high end gaming rig and used the same card. It ran fine for about a month and a half again. Now its down. I am as I speak in a post getting advice for an upgrade. One thing they told me is its junk for gaming. I personally, would look at anything other than the 9500GT. I'm still learning about video cards myself, so to recommend one is out of my reach yet. Hope this helps.
Good luck.

The GT220 is better, but not by much they will net you just about the same performance really.

A GT240 is a step up from the 9500GT and GT220 as those to cards are pretty much the same thing performance wise.

so u saying that 9500GT and GT220 are both same and GT240 is the advance version of these 2 cards right.

Yes, I have a 9500GT myself and a little whole ago I put a GT220 into my mothers machine and a quick test showed very little difference between them. The GT240 should be the better card.
