Planning to upgrade...

I'm planning to get an AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE processor and a Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6850 1GB graphics card, but I don't know which motherboard to get since my current motherboard, a Pegatron NARRA5, doesn't support the processor.

My current specs:
■Win 7 Home Premium 32 bit
■AMD Athlon 2x 64 4850e (2.5 Ghz)
■3 GB DDR2 RAM
■Nvidia G210 512mb
■Pegatron NARRA5
■HP Pavillion

Does anybody know which motherboard I should get so I can use the processor? And by the way do I have to reinstall my OS to use the motherboard because I'm not building my computer from scratch and do I have to update my BIOS?

You may want to start over from scratch, since getting a new windows coa isn't cheap. I would leave your system as is, and either use it for a spare, or sell it intact on craigslist. You'll need new ram and a better power supply for the 6850, and you definately want ddr3, since it's cheaper than ddr2. I would list your system for around $200, and see if you get any offers.
