Hello all...

I am having a very frustrating problem that I hope someone can help me with.

I have a brand new HP Phoenix HPE h9-1130. I have tried Windows 7 and Windows 8 and two SSD drives: Intel 330 and Mushkin Chronos. The benchmarks for both drives top out at about 250 Mb/sec, which is SATA 2 speeds.

I tried several cables and every SATA port (there are 6 on the motherboard, all supposedly support SATA 3). I have contacted HP support, Intel support and tried posting to their forums... nobody has been able to solve this problem.

I have been at this problem for weeks and just can't figure it out. I suspect there is some type of missing driver or some stupid setting I am missing but I have tried every resource I could think of, and still nothing...

Newegg is not likely to allow me to return the system so I am feeling stuck and frustrated. I spent well over $1000 on the computer, SSD and a new monitor and I want the numbers to be where they should be.

At this point, the computer is in pieces and one step from being in the river. I am hoping one of you professionals can lend some of your valuable insight into what may be going on. Thanks in advance!
