PCIe and SLI / XFire question

So I am planning a build and the motherboard I had planned on using is the ASRock Z68 Extreme4. I noticed that when running SLI or XFire it runs both PCIe x16 slots at x8. If I am running two higher end graphics cards is this going to be a bottleneck for me? Basically I am wondering if I should keep looking for a card that is comprable but runs both PCIe lanes at x16 when in SLI / XFire.

It will only make a difference if you are running a huge multi-monitor resolution like 5760x1200. If you're running a single monitor, you wouldn't notice any difference.
