XP + mp3s + creative drivers...

Well, I installed XP. I had the default XP drivers for my live 5.1 card used, and everything sounded great. I couldn't use my line in though (no surprise there), so I downloaded Creative's XP driver upgrade. Now it seems as though some of my mp3s are kinda underwater... No EAX presets are on, and it seems to affect some files more than others...

Other than that, all I have to report about my switch over is powerdvd, my webcam, and partition magic 6.0 don't work and require an NT kernel version (I was running ME before), halflife doesn't work in OpenGl anymore, but works in D3D. Quake 3 arena works fine in OpenGl though (60 fps at 1280x1024x32 on my GTS). My max framerate is down in UT, but the play seems a lot smoother, with a lower variation between max and average than I had before.
