I just installed my old nVidia 7950 GT video card into a PC by simply plugging it into the PCI-E slot. It seems to work ok but the nVidia app displays a message that the video card does not have sufficient power, and so it is reducing the performance. I now see that there is a 6-pin power connector (3x2) on the video card which isn't connected to anything. Unfortunately, I don't see any cable from my PSU that will fit there.
The PC has a "500W Ark Tech Power Supply". Is there a way I can make this work? Is that PSU adequate for this card?
Thanks,
Tom
