Min Starcraft II build to run in ultra 1920X1080?

I want the cheapest setup that will run SC2 in 1920X1080, ultra settings, with min 20FPS.

im having trouble finding the answer to this in the forums because few people specify what resolution or FPS they want to end up with.

My best guess:
AMD athlon II X3 440 (overclocked)
ATI 5770
2GB (or 4) DDR3 1333

Questions:
1) this combo us ultra cheap, but will this do what im wanting
2) what motherboard do you recommend?

thanks

That will handle it quite well, my 4850 sputters occasionally at 1920x1080 with everything on ultra but its mostly pretty smooth so the 5770 so make up for that and perform well.

Looks like a good combo to me.
Get 4GB RAM instead of only 2GB.
For the mobo..
How much are you willing to pay for the mobo and/or do have future X-Fire plan?
The PSU should also be adjusted to your need.

Actually w/o AA SC2 @ ultra Full HD isn't a monster by any means ^^ In fact many are remarking the lack of difference with and w/o AA hehe

Running a 2GB 4890 and playing SC2 @ 1920*1200 full screen with all settings on "Ultra" with AA and AS, no issues or stuttering.

IMO, with everything enabled at that res I would go a minimum of a 5850.

what processor you got? i understand the game is fairly processor intensive, not really video card intensive.

i was going to try the setup with 2GB ram, see if it worked, and add more if necessary.
again, im going for the minimum build that will run SC2 in 1920res, ultra settings, with min 20FPS.

dont need anything special in the mobo, just something that works with my cpu/card and supports the 1333 mem speed. is there anything i should worry about?

i can get a mobo for like $60, but im a little worried about going THAT cheap.

thanks

I have a PII 955 at stock speed for the summer, an OC'ed 440 should perform similarly or better, but SCII does seem to like memory so a full 4 will provide a bit of a boost over 2GB.

What OS are you running on? I would recommend 4GB of RAM, especially if you have Win7.
