Intel dh61ww not detecting hdd

Hello,
My HDD is shown in Bios, But When I boot my PC, it is not Detected.Kindly Assist Me.Thanks

The drive may have failed. You can test it to find out if it has. Download the drive maker's Diagnostic Software for DOS from here: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=287 on a working PC.

Now install IMGBurn and use it to create a CD from the diagnostic software ISO file: http://www.filehippo.com/download_imgburn/

Boot your faulty PC from that CD to test it's hard drive. If there is a "long test" or "extended test", use that to test the drive with.

Is it shown in disk management? You may need to create a partition and format it.
