Hello,I am running an ABIT NFM2S Motherboard AMD Duel Core PCU 3800 with 2x1GB Kingston DDR2 667HZ Memory.COLOURS 500W PSU.
Because the Colours PC is noisy I decided to swap it for a Tagan 420W PSU,when I switched the power on the PC wouldnt POST up and I got a continuous series of Long Beeps.I took out the Memory modules and put in 1 x 1GB OCZ 667hz reinstated the Colours PSU and the PC Booted up instantly....
What I want to ask is does this indicate that the Tagan PSU is faulty? I have no method to test it and do not wish to destroy more memory..Can any one help please?

Does it boot up with the 2 x 1 GB Kingston DDR2 667HZ Memory? I doubt the Tagan destroyed the memory; if it did, then you shoudl have other issues as well.
