Hey guys,

Ive currently got 2 sets of
G-Skill 4GB DDR3 (2x2gb) 1600MHz Ripjaws Memory Kit CL7(7-8-7-24) 1.6V = 8GB

Was wanting to upgrade to 16gb,
what do you think of these,

Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz CL9 1.5V Non-ECC Unbuffered

CPU : i7 860
Gcard : XFX HD 5850

you do realise that this isnt gonna make your computer run any faster right? it will just give more space to load programs onto, and assuming you are a human and can only use one program at a time, is technically useless. a dual channel is the faster way this type of memory can be utilised, hence the name ddr for dual channel ram.

my bad its Double data rate. unless you are going to load things that are like 16gb big to work on them, then this could be good, and u might even want to go for ram thats slower but bigger in size.
