Hey all,

Having a little trouble with my PC desktop on switch. Lately, I have to wiggle the switch slightly when I press it down to get the PC to start. I've tried digging around inside the machine, but I have no idea what the connector wire (if any) looks like. After ensuring that all the possible connections are tight, the problem has yet to go away.

I built my machine a few years ago, and the specs are:

Asus P5B-E mobo
4GB DDR2-800 G.Skill RAM
Rosewill case
2.25 TB HDD
nVidia 8800GT

Any ideas would be most appreciated! Thanks in advance!

That switch is just a momentary-contact normally-open switch. That is, the contacts are open and spring-loaded. When you push, the contacts connect as long as you hold it in, but the contacts open again as son as you release. Very simple switch, and the electronics shop guys will know all about that.
