Corsair H50 dying?

when I bought my Phenom II x4 965be, I installed the H50 water cooler and was achieving EASILY 29/30 *C at idle, and rarely ever reached 50 *C on load.

I've had the setup for several months and realized that the CPU is getting hot enough to auto-shutdown the system and decided to check the HW monitor for the first time in a while. As I type this, my temperatures read at 45 *C, with a minimum of 44. I've done nothing in terms of processes since bootup. I just cleaned the dust vents etc as my first plan of attack and was obviously unsuccessful. Any ideas?

:p thank you! back down to low 30's

decided to clean the radiator as well... I feel stupid for thinking it would be cleaner than it was. Lesson learned guys, thanks a bunch :)
