Hello, Is there a better CPU I can put in this MB? I have an Intel Quad Q9300 @250GHZ. JUst runing it stock, never tried OC'ing. Figured there was better technology now? Thanks

The absolute "best" cpu you can use in your board is the QX9770, a bit pricey for my taste. A q9650 would be a better option for the money, but now you looking at spending hundreds of dollars on an old system. your best bet is to overclock the 9300 to around 3.0 to 3.2ghz.

The most cost effective CPU that you can put in your motherboard is a Q9550. newegg has them for $275.

Considering that you can get a decent AMD motherboard, CPU, and DDR3 memory for about that; I just do not think that it is worth worth the price.
