I'm reposting my build because I found a killer deal on a motherboard that changes everything. So here's the new info:

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: September.

BUDGET RANGE: $500 After Rebates Total

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: heavy internet browsing, multitasking, adobe web premium CS5, Starcraft II

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: monitors, keyboard, mouse, sound card, mobo (MSI H55-G43 Intel H55 1156), case (sonata III), PSU (earthwatts 500W), DVD Drive

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com, amazon.com, biz.newegg.com

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: US

PARTS PREFERENCES: no preferences as long as the quality is good

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1050p native, probably will buy a new monitor shortly however

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I want an energy efficent beast. Also the $500 was for everything including what I've spent so far. $20 on DVD, $75 on PSU and case, and $45 on moBo...so $360 left.
I'd like 1TB of space if possible.

Thanks ahead of time!

You've not many choices with $360 left. You need an OS ($100), an HD ($50 min), memory ($85 for 2x2GB) leaving $125 for cpu and gpu. Which would cover an i3 530 and using onboard graphics. That would do for all except gaming.

If you don't need an OS, you could use the now remaining $110 to buy an HD 4850 or GTS 250 which will provide "Exceptional 1680x1050 performance in most games, (adequate) 1920x1200 in most games with lowered detail."

I just bought the Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 4GB DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 for $70 so that leaves $290 for CPU GPU and HDD.

How would you guys split this up? I could get the 240 for $36...
