Solution
Two steps... first, enable it in the BIOS... It should be somewhere under the 'Advanced Chipset Features'. You'll also want to disable the BIOS splash screen. After this, when you boot, you'll get a screen after the initial POST that allows you to configure the raid. I believe you'll have to hit cntrl-I to enter the utility.
