If you can stretch the budget slightly, getting an Athlon II x3 Rana 440 for $18 more than the x2 would be well worth it in my opinion

CPU: Rana 440 - $75
Mobo and Case combo above - $55
PSU above - $35

Total: $165

You could afford 4gb of Mushkin 1600mhz RAM. But personally I would go with gkays suggestion and buy 2gb for now and use the spare money to try to get a more powerful PSU - if you could manage a quality 500W PSu it means in future when you have money you can replace your GPU for anything other than a GTX480 and a 5970 and have enough juice to power it, and that woulod give a great gaming boost.
2gb plus a 500w PSU, then another 2gb when you can afford it and finally a decent GPU. That way no money is wasted (if you bought a 300W PSU then later got a new GPU you would have to replace the 300W PSU which would mean money wasted)

Well I was told that SC2 is very CPU dependent and to be able to play it on ultra that I would need something like a 5870. I am only going to play SC2 so don't worry about other games. If I was going to get a 5870 I would get a better everything, this build right now is just to hold me over til I can get some real money and patiently wait on sata 6, ssd, and usb 3.0 to become viable. Then I will go with better CPU, GPU, HDD, PSU, Case and cooling for OCing, but for now will that piece of crap PSU hold up and provide enough power? I was told it was enough power for Rana and 4650, 1 HDD, 1 dvd drive. Once again thank you guys so much, I wish I could get a 790x, OC rana 445 to 4.1, and a robust PSU to push a beastly GPU.
